King Arthur is facing battle with the murderous Saxon overlord Aelle. Meanwhile the self-absorbed ruler of the Faerie people Hellekin, is set to intervene in Arthur's battle because of Nimue's involvement with the humans. Causing a situation that may tip the balance of power to the invading warmonger.
Enter a tangled web of intrigue and lust, sorcery and sword fights, as the lives of these mythical figures intersect and irrevocably change the natural course of events in the year AD 491.
The purpose is to reinvigorate the tales of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, but to give the characters a different aspect to that which is normally prescribed to them.
The intended audience are adults from 18 years old and over.
There are many levels to this, the first in the series, and the reader may choose to read the novel as a fairy story. However there are underlying narratives that are started in this book and carried through that are about the place of multiculturalism and religion in today's world.
