The Wildcat's Victory is the fourth novel in the Iskander series of alternate world/SF adventures that feature the strong female storm-crow Gisel Matah, a security agent for the castaway Iskanders on the alternate Earth called Gaia.
She is now twenty-one and Iskander's top special operations agent, the security officer for Iskander's vital trans-shipment port Skrona as well as their operations manager for the new Iskander-Felger Partnership in company with Yohan Felger, her husband. As they take passage to Lubitz in the Swift, the Partnership's new steam packet, an agent of hers is murdered on board. She now accepts two new tasks; acting as gum-shoe to solve the crime, as well as leading a cavalry battalion to war. No explicit sex, suitable for teenage and adult readers.
The Iskander series were originally published in Canada by Double Dragon and the rights for all five novels have reverted to the author.
