Produktinformationen zu „Beginning Perl 6 “
Perl 6, the long-awaited next release of one of the world's most popular programming languages, is coming to fruition after more than seven years. A complete redesign of its predecessor, Perl 6 represents a massive rethinking of both language internals and features, and will grant both the language developers and users a level of unheralded flexibility and power.
However, taking advantage of these new features comes at the cost of a steep learning curve, particularly for those developers who have grown accustomed to programming using the longstanding Perl concepts of previous versions.
Beginning Perl 6 is the first book to offer both newcomers to the language and seasoned developers alike the definitive resource to Perl, with special emphasis on the version 6 release.
