Moreover in greenhouse cultivation main emphasis is given on appropriate cultural practices such as plant densities and training systems in order to enhance the production per unit area by utilizing the available space and utilization of the resources. Diseases and insects from other crops can also be checked to affect the crops under protected conditions. Seed production under protected conditions proves to be a boon especially for crops such as bell pepper, tomato, cucumber etc. Considering above advantages protected structures may be utilized for commercial seed production of various crops.
