The Dreamland team is called in to stop Russian rebels who are threatening oil supplies - and the global economy
Klappentext zu „Dale Brown's Dreamland: Revolution “
After narrowly averting a war between India, China, and Pakistan, the Dreamland team returns home to recover from their wounds. But theres no time to celebrate for the high-tech, special-operations unit: A mysterious group of revolutionaries blows up a politically sensitive gas pipeline in Romania, threatening Europes supply of natural gas. The American president suspects that Russia, trying to preserve its monopoly on gas supplies, is behind the attack as part of a plan to destabilize Europe. If successful, bickering between the Western European allies could split NATO and lead to another Cold War. And rising energy prices will line Russias depleted coffers, further endangering the world. The President secretly orders the Dreamland team to help protect the pipeline from further attacks. It seems like a comparatively easy mission - until the "rebels" kidnap the Romanian prime minister. NATO and the European Union are paralyzed by the crisis. The Dreamland team finds itself fending off not rebels but a renegade Romanian military leader who has secretly aligned himself with the Russians. With energy prices in the U.S. rising rapidly and open warfare about to break out, only the Dreamland team and its cutting edge technology can prevent catastrophe.
