Jared Diamond, geb. 1938 in Boston, ist Professor für Geographie an der Universität von Kalifornien in Los Angeles. Für seine Arbeit auf dem Feld der Anthropologie und Genetik ist Jared Diamond vielfach ausgezeichnet worden. Nouriel Roubini, Jahrgang 1959, ist Wirtschaftsprofessor an der Stern School of Business der New York University. Unter Bill Clinton war er Wirtschaftsberater des Weißen Hauses und des amerikanischen Finanzministeriums. Seine einzigartig frühe und exakte Prognose der Weltwirtschaftskrise brachte ihm den Spitznamen "Dr. Doom" ("Dr. Untergang") ein. Er ist einer der bekanntesten und gefragtesten Wirtschaftsexperten der Welt. Steve Drobny ist Mitbegründer und Partner von Drobny Global Advisors (DGA), einer international agierenden Unternehmungsberatung. Er arbeitet für die Hedge Fund Group der Deutschen Bank in London, Singapur und Zürich.
