My name is Albertina Clay-Downing. I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on December 5, 1969. My mom, Pastor Mildred Clay (1929–2003), always inspired me to press past what I was thinking and what I was feeling. She also taught me how to believe and to trust God and live by faith. My husband, Pastor Andre Downing, has been my friend, partner, and pastor while helping me through it all. The nine miracles that God gave to me were also an inspirational part of my life. Without God, there would be no me. As a wife, daughter, mother of nine, teacher, counselor, motivational speaker, community helper, an author, and a pastor, I feel inspired to help motivate people into coming out of their current negative situation.
