She gave him a flat stare. "And what makes you think I'd want to have sex with you?"

"Revenge. I managed to distract my father's attorney and a few subtle, but very important modifications to the contract after they did a final reading this morning, but before they'd actually signed them." He pulled a folded set of papers from his pocket and handed them to her.

Jill read the contract to the end. It sounded like the deal she'd agreed to. "I'm not seeing what you changed.

"I changed the boilerplate so that any Mallory son would be acceptable. That means even if they do scream, it won't do them much good, as I am their son. No matter how much they wish it wasn't so."

He grinned again, showing his even, white teeth. "I also amended things so that that if you do have a child, you receive title to both your familial estate and the Mallory corporation immediately. So, you get both prizes and they get nothing except the exquisite pleasure of being in-laws."

Jill reread the contract again more closely. It didn't mention Jacques and the fine print did define son as he'd said. The other changes read exactly as he'd said in the small print she'd always ignored. The changes redefined the clauses in the body of the contract.

"Holy shit! Is that even legal?"

"Yes, it is very binding. They signed in front of witnesses just before I came to see you and I've taken the liberty of destroying the original version."

She raised her eyes. "And what do you get out of this? It sounds like I get the prizes."

His eyes traveled down her body. "For one thing, the very intimate pleasure of your company for as long as it takes to get you pregnant. And then there is my own revenge on my father for cutting me out of his will."

"So, basically you're saying I should just spread my legs so that you can get lucky and get even? Doesn't seem fair. I want something personal in return. You grant one request to be named later."

He considered that. "So long as it does not involve a crime, I'm in."

"Not yet, but you soon will be." She grabbed a piece of paper and wrote out her simple contract twice. They both signed a copy and took one for themselves.

Jill looked toward the door. "It's too risky to do anything before the wedding."

"I think not. The crisis in the kitchen is quite real. I was a bad boy. Besides, I want to have you before my asshole brother does."

She smiled. "We'll see if you have enough time. I want a little foreplay before I give it up." She walked over to the bay window and sat on the cushion. She spread her legs just enough to raise the hem of her skirt. "Dinner is served."
