Ronald C. Arnett, PhD, is professor and chair of the department of communication & rhetorical studies and the Patricia Doherty Yoder and Ronald Wolfe endowed chair in communication ethics at Duquesne University. He is the former Henry Koren, C.S.Sp., endowed chair for scholarly excellence. Ronald is the author/coauthor of eleven books and the recipient of six book awards. His most recent works are Levinas’s Rhetorical Demand: The Unending Obligation of Communication Ethics (2017, Southern Illinois University Press) and two award-winning works: Communication Ethics in Dark Times: Hannah Arendt’s Rhetoric of Warning and Hope and An Overture to Philosophy of Communication: The Carrier of Meaning (with Annette Holba). The National Communication Association selected him as a 2017 Distinguished Scholar.Sarah M. DeIuliis, MA, is visiting instructor and director of recruitment and professional development in the department of communication & rhetorical Studies at Duquesne University. Mrs. DeIuliis serves as director of the Duquesne Debating Society. Her publications have appeared in journals such as The Journal of the Association for Communication Administration, Communication Research Trends, and Listening: Journal of Communication Ethics, Religion, and Culture.
Matthew Corr, MA, is an instructor at Shenandoah University and the owner of Rocky Mountain Restoration, LLC. Mr. Corr acts as director of sales and client management, working with clients such as First Energy, PPG, PNC, Bayer, and Mellon. Additionally, he worked as fraud department director and private investigator for AmTrust/Ohio Savings Bank and MBNA America, responsible for significant monetary considerations.
