AnnaLee Conti, granddaughter of the Personeuses, is a fifth-generation ordained minister of the Gospel in the Personeus family. AnnaLee grew up in Alaska and met her husband, Bob, while they were students at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. In addition to her BA in music and elementary education from the University of Alaska, AnnaLee earned an MA in Bible at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. The Contis have ministered in New York State for forty-five years, including pioneering a church. AnnaLee served as minister of Christian education and music in their churches and still teaches Bible and theology to ministerial students. For twenty-five years, she wrote many articles, short stories, and curriculum on assignment for Gospel Publishing House. Since retirement, she has also published Footsteps of Faith and the Alaskan Waters Series: Till the Storm Passes By, A Star to Steer By, and Till the Turning of the Tide (previously published as Beside Still Waters)-a trilogy of historical Christian novels based on true stories her grandparents told of their early days in Alaska.
