HANS A. BAER is in the Department of Anthropology at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. He is the author of a number of books including Critical Medical Anthropology (1995), coauthored with Merrill Singer.::Singer /f Merrill /b MERRILL SINGER is Deputy Director of the Hispanic Health Council in Hartford, Connecticut, and teaches at the University of Connecticut and Central Connecticut State University.::Susser /f Ida /b IDA SUSSER is Professor of Anthropology at Hunter College, City University of New York.
