Produktinformationen zu „Seven Habits of Highly Fulfilled People (ePub)“
This book presents seven simple habits (or gifts) of mind that can bring lasting fulfillment in all aspects of our lives. One can be highly successful in the worldly sense and still feel completely empty inside. This book underscores the vital difference between success and significance. It is about living a life beyond the narrow confines of materialistic success and instead, living a life of significance, a life infused with understanding, meaning, purpose, and fulfillment. Success is external, significance is internal; success aims to acquire external objects, significance aims to harness inner qualities. All of the "gifts" presented within these pages are devoted to the high art of living a fulfilled life and leaving something behind. This book draws upon time tested principles culled from the wisdom traditions from all over the world. It proposes that the key to abiding fulfillment lies in changing our engrained mental models rather than fixing the outer environment. Through stories, anecdotes and powerful quotes, the book presents practical strategies and opportunities for the reader to explore and reflect upon how they might integrate and practice these gifts in their lives. As these gifts are practiced, an internal peace and a sense of fulfillment evolve that does not rely on external props.
