Awe is the ability to see the beauty and wonder of life in anything and everything. Concentration is a focus on the joy of experiencing simple, everyday activities. The Fable of the Snake Named Slim was selected by the Mom's Choice Awards for excellence in family friendly media in the category of Children's Personal Growth & Development. It also received the prestigious Pinnacle Book Achievement Award by the National Association of Book Entrepreneurs in the category of Child Development. Doug holds a BS in Communications from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Communications as well as a MA in Communications from William Paterson University. Doug is a former officer in the United States Marine Corps.
