The world of the dead comes naturally to Quinn. She owns a funeral home complete with the ghost of a young girl that tells Quinn she is not leaving. She has a specter residing in her apartment that sends her messages by rearranging the contents of her dining room.

Quin is often contacted by the souls of the dead who want her to fulfill their request, except the spirits who contact her are all on the criminal side of lifepart of the Mafia, and with them come the living members of the same organization. Fulfilling their ghostly requests so they will move on to the afterlife and leave her alone, Quinn has a close circle of friends who help her to solve their puzzles while trying to avoid the complications of the living, criminal world who want the same things the spirits do.
But now, spirits are restless. Not only do they want something from Quinn, they want her to know something. Because of it, Quinn faces the most difficult puzzle of all--one that has the spirits and the Mafia in chaos. One that will make her question everything. And now, the only thing that is important is that she protects her friends. Not from the dead. From the living.
I worked at Eastman Kodak in Motion Picture film for over twenty years before the company started to downgrade. After that, I was a teacher in Health and Physical Education and completed my years of work in a school district in transportation where I used software to solve the puzzle of getting 5600 students to many different schools as well as train new bus drivers.
I am now retiredfrom work, but not from writing!
I have always been a writer, and always will be. Since high school, I have written songs, novels, short stories, and journals. I have one dogEla-who is a rescue from the Puerto Rican hurricanes. She has taught me a little Spanish and I have taught her a lot of English.
I enjoy being active outdoors in all seasons and partake in many different activities from kayaking, long distance biking, a lot of walks and hiking to gardening. I also love moviesmost genres, but especially fantasy and science fiction.
