I was born in Pennsylvania, outside Philadelphia, then moved to Orlando, Florida, at age fourteen. I am twenty-eight years old and currently live in Tallahassee, Florida. I'm the oldest of three children. I have two brothers. My youngest brother is fourteen, and my other brother would have turned twenty-six on May 15, but he passed away from a heroin addiction December 6, 2014.

I have three wonderful children, two boys and a girl ages eight, six, and four (Hunter, Miley, and Mason). I have been married, divorced and currently engaged to be married within the next year to a wonderful man, which without his help, this book would not be available for you to read. So how did I become a writer, you ask? Well, I have been writing for the past ten-plus years. It wasn't until about a year ago that I decided to get my work published. I have been through so much, so many life-changing events, good and bad. I have had my fair share ups and downs and want to share them with you.

I hope this book gives you advice and ideas. Let it inspire you. May it give you a different outlook on your life. For this book is all about my feelings and life events that I have actually been through. Love, loss, heartache, and abuse. Just remember to tell the one you love that you love them every day, for we are not promised tomorrow. Remember that is it better to love and to lose than to not love at all. Remember that whatever hardships you're going through, it won't be like that forever. Remember that there is someone special out there for everyone. And change starts with you. If you're not happy, make a move. Last thing I would have to say is that women should fear no man and vice versa. Any kind of abuse is serious-mental, physical, and emotional. Don't stay in fear that you won't find better. Take it from me, you will.
