Assessment of the Value of the Duvan Kombinat Branch

Since intangible assets determine the company's growth potential and generate the largest part of the increased value, investments in intangible assets represent the basic indicator of the vitality of the company and a key indicator of its competitiveness. The ratio of the market and accounting value of the company represents a good measure of the representation of intangible assets. A high proportion between the market value and the carrying amount of the company points to the great expectations of the effects in the future that should generate the potential of intangible assets and the present value of cash flows on that basis. Montenegro, as a candidate for EU membership, must also change its attitude towards valuation, management and accounting of intangible assets.This article is intended for a wide audience and interested parties, as mentioned in scientific research institutions, marketing companies, manufacturing industry, engineering profession, economics, information technology, and global social networks as an example of the development of tobacco industry in Montenegro.
