Various types of bone grafts, such as- xenogenic bone grafts, autogenic bone grafts, allogenic bone have been successfully transplanted time to time by some authors. However, the success of bone grafting is still a challenging issue in the maxillofacial surgery. Autogenous bone graft is the gold standard for reconstruction of mandibular defects.
