Patrick Keating is an associate professor of communication, Trinity University, Texas. He is the author of Hollywood Lighting from the Silent Era to Film Noir, awarded the Best First Book Award by the Society of Cinema and Media Studies. He is an Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences Film Scholar.
