Judith S. Beck, Ph.D., ist Präsidentin des Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, einer gemeinnützigen Organisation, die von ihr, zusammen mit ihrem Vater Aaron T. Beck, M.D., 1994 gegründet wurde. Im Rahmen ihrer Arbeit an diesem Institut hat sie Tausende von medizinischen und psychologischen Fachkräften ausgebildet, sowohl auf nationaler als auch internationaler Ebene. Als Associate Professor für klinische Psychologie in der Psychiatrie arbeitet sie an der University of Pennsylvania.
