Sie ist zweifache Stipendiatin der Wilhelm-Undelse-Heraeus-Stiftung. 2012 gewann sie mit ihrem Vortrag "Darm mit Charme" den 1. Preis des Science Slam in Freiburg, der zum Youtube-Hit wurde.
