Hartmut Yersin is professor in Physical Chemistry at the University in Regensburg, Germany. His research activities focus on the development of new emitter materials, transition metal complexes and electroluminescent devices as well as on fundamental photophysical characterizations.He has authored more than 250 scientific publications as well as edited seven books. Furthermore, he holds more than 50 patents.
