Trotz der Kompaktheit bleibt das Englisch verständlich und somit ist die vorliegende Lektüre auch prima zum Aneignen eines immunologischen Basiswortschatzes geeignet. Außerdem werden in Immunology at a Glance nicht nur die Grundlagen und Abläufe erläutert, sondern auch Defekte und deren Auswirkungen besprochen. Der Kaufpreis ist somit eine gute Investition und das sowohl für angehende Mediziner als auch für Biologen. (Uni-Online, 9.07.2009)Der Inhalt ist für eine Einführung in die Immunologie perfekt gewählt und scheut auch nicht den Blick über den Rand hinweg... Das Buch ist jenen zu empfehlen, die sich im Studium befinden, ihr Wissen auffrischen oder erweitern wollen, aber auch jenen, die ihren Fachwortschatz in Englisch trainieren möchten. Übersichtliche Abbildungen und ein verständliches Englisch runden das Werk ab und tragen zum schnellen Verständnis bei. (Uni-Online, 30.07.09)
