Kees Verruijt was one of the co-founders of Redwood Software in 1993. Kees has a proven track record in developing infrastructure and business software. He developed and sold his first software product at the age of 14. Before 1993, he worked in the Oracle Gateway Technology group, where he was involved in two-phase commit protocols and SQL gateway development. With this background, Kees has been visionary in developing the Redwood flagship product that is his brainchild, Cronacle.Throughout the existence of Redwood Software, Kees has continuously im-proved the technology regarded as the leading event-driven and realtime job-scheduling technology in the industry. He also has driven the development of Cronacle for an open-standard technology, Java. Leading industry analysts have recognized the latest version of Cronacle as the only product with a clear vision of J2EE application server platforms and emerging technologies such as Web Services.
