He is the author or editor of, amongst others, Media Rituals: A Critical Approach and Listening Beyond the Echoes: Media, Ethics and Agency in an Uncertain World. SONIA LIVINGSTONE is Professor of Social Psychology in the Department of Media and Communications, London School of Economics and Political Science, UK. She is the author or editor of fourteen books including Audiences and Publics, Children and the Internet, and the Handbook of New Media. TIM MARKHAM is Lecturer in Journalism in the Department of Media and Cultural Studies, Birkbeck College, University of London, UK.
