Dr. Barrios has been with the Spanish National Research Council since 1987. Was a visiting professor at Carnegie Mellon University from 2002 to 2004. Co-founder of both the Spanish Thematic Network on Cognitive Sciences and the CSIC Bioengineering Group Co-editor on a special issue of the journal Applied Bionics and Biomechanics.
