Along its way to the environment the thermal energy is organized to provide useful mechanical work or useful heat or both. Volume 4 is devoted to the nuclear thermal hydraulics. In a way this is the most essential application of the multiphase fluid dynamics in analyzing steady and transient processes in nuclear power plants.
