Kuschnerova, N: My Friend Ledvedik

We first read "Mein Freund Ledvedik" in German and now we have started with the English version to improve my son's language skills.
This is a story about the meeting of two third graders from parallel worlds who. It is written with great humor and with the desire to easily introduce children to such concepts as the existence of parallel worlds and anti-worlds, entropy as a measure of disorder in the universe, the relationship between food and energy, to explain such concepts as genes, scale and cloning, telepathy, teleportation and hypnosis, poetry and inspiration.
But first of all it's an adventure story. And to get some adventurous knowledge about the universe is much more interesting than reading about it in the encyclopedia. The book has no complex terms and hats off to the author because she could explain this for the kids with the fun and between the lines.
The book is unusual and very interesting. I recommend reading the story "My friend Ledvedik" for children aged 6-10 years.

The writer has been very successful in portraying the fantasies and dreams of children and helping them to recognize the world, to understand themselves and others. This story is funny and smart, it offers readers exciting adventures and at the same time it moves to ponder such important things as friendship, mutual help and family relationships.

For children aged 6-9 read by adults, and from 9-12 years for self-reading. Easy to read, exciting and with humor. Incredibly interesting style.
