This will be a new title in the Teaching File series. It will present 250 cases in the teaching file format: a patient history followed by imaging findings, a description of the findings, differential diagnosis, the correct diagnosis, and a discussion of the case. A new feature for this title will be 2-3 questions for each case centered around the core teaching points the case is meant to illustrate. The book will also come with a website with additional cases not in the book, including variants of diagnoses presented in the book, as well as a self-assessment module. Pediatric radiology is one of the 10 subspecialty training areas taught to all radiology residents. The major society for practitioners is the SPR, which has about 1,500 members. Many radiologists remain generalists, however, so the market for any pediatric radiology product includes a sizable number of general radiologists.
