Surface modification in the form of perforation is a passive method of increasing the heat transfer rates at the solid fluid interface. Application of perforations on extended surface not only increases its heat transfer ability but also reduces its weight. This book contains standard computational techniques fluid flow and heat transfer in agreement with the RNG based k- turbulence model to obtain the solution for heat transfer and friction under the specified thermal and flow conditions.

Panwar, KuldeepDr. Kuldeep Panwar is currently working as Associate Professor & Head of Mechanical and Automation Engineering Department at Delhi Technical Campus, Greater Noida. He completed his Bachelors of Engineering from B.T.K.I.T, Dwarahat in 2009, and his Masters in Thermal Engineering in 2012. He completed his PhD in Mechanical Engg. in 2016.
