A revision of the bestselling XSLT book in the industry-updated and expanded for the new XSLT 2.0 standard. XSLT is a "must-know" language for Web developers and is the established language for processing and converting XML data for presentation purposes. Without using the formal and inaccessible language of the W3C specifications, this authoritative reference tells the reader exactly what every construct in the language does and how to use it. Explains why XSLT 2.0 is a giant leap forward and how it will actually double the size of the current language.
Michael Kay is the author of the XSLT 2.0 specification, a member of the XPath working group, and the developer of Saxon, the most popular open-source XSLT tool.
