Gartz, JochenDr.Jochen Gartz, 64,lives in Leipzig, Germany. He studied organic chemistry from 1972 to 1980 and later he worked in the pharmaceutical industry. Since 1983, he studied the psychoactive mushrooms in Germany and after 1986 in Europe, in South Africa and the U.S.A. as well as in Canada. These extensive studies yielded new species from these Areas.
