The preparation methods of oxides involve complex procedures, sophisticated equipment and rigorous experimental conditions. Most of these techniques required high temperatures and long processing time. Certainly, there is a great demand for economically viable synthesis techniques. Solution combustion synthesis (SCS) and Green combustion synthesis is emerging as a promising technique for the preparation of nano powders. This process is simple, fast and economic, does not require high-temperature furnaces and complicated set-ups. It can be used for the preparation of all kinds of oxides and formation of various gases during SCS inhibit particle size growth and favor synthesis of nanosized powders with a high specific surface area.
