Klappentext zu „Rueffler, M: Dormant Potential of a Nation “
The present book, The Dormant Potential of a Nation, integrates psychological and historic perspectives with the author's personal experiences working with multi-ethnic and Jewish clients. It shows how the individual is embedded in the collective and how each individual influences the collective. The awareness of the collective potential of the German nation and how this potential was misdirected, opens up a new perspective on national behaviors. It illuminates the unconscious dynamics that lead to self-destructive national events, as well as showing new possibilities of channeling national collective energies differently. A new perspective is presented which allows neonazi groups and organizations to be viewed as actors on the stage of the nation -psychological left-overs from previous dramas. The author points out how fear of violence is used to manipulate people, and how this fear can be dealt with in new ways. The reader is introduced to the concept of an energetic field in which the individual is empowered to co-create the collective. Descriptions of experiential exercises familiarize the reader with how these concepts are put into practice.
