The book investigates the impact of social media on social development of teenagers of Lwendulu Village, Hwange in Matabeleland North Province. The main thrust of the study was to explore the negative and positive effects of social media during the teenagers' development and establish the consumption patterns of social media messages, particularly to Zimbabwean teenagers who are the pillars of development in the society. This study was guided by the need to trace the development of social media and its influence on teenagers' social development, determine the ways in which social media can define social development in teenagers, examine the importance of parents on teenagers' use of social media on social growth, identify the socialisation agents that influence behavioural patterns in teenagers' development and establish ways in which social media promoted social responsibilities in teenagers.
