Klappentext zu „The Olive Baboons of Sudan: Determinants of Structure and Survival “
Sudan is very rich in natural resources including diverse wildlife species in the various ecological zones, which range from desert region in the far north through semi desert, savannahs belts, the huge Sudd wetlands, to tropical forests in the far south (inside South Sudan). It is known that of the thirteen mammalian orders in Africa, twelve are found in Sudan ( the two Sudans). Not much work have been published on the wildlife of the Sudan, specially, the primates. So, this book may be among the few humble efforts that will bring Sudan's primates, especially the baboons, to prominence.
