William Dietrich, 55, is the author of the novels HADRIAN'S WALL, SCOURGE OF GOD, and NAPOLEON'S PYRAMIDS, the latter of which also featured the winning protagonist Ethan Gage. Dietrich is also a Pulitzer-winning journalist, historian and naturalist. He is a staff writer at the Seattle Times and lives in Washington State.
