But sustainable farming practices that utilize and conserve biodiversity, reducing negative impacts of agriculture on biodiversity and provide wood and wood products to local community is a good solution to reduce deforestation and forest degradation. In another way Plant species diversity is one of the determinate factors which affect atmospheric carbon capture and storage. Based on this concept this study is designed to show the contribution of agroforestry and other land uses for woody species conservation and carbon storage.
