This is a story of 4 girls and how they uprooted themselves from their own towns and states to hideaway in a small Michigan farm town to spend a school year getting to know themselves better. Follow the first group of young girls as they learn to trust themselves and finally each other as they work on a ranch with the husband/wife team of Austin and Rebecca and their mischievous Australian Shepherd Banjo as they learn to work with horses and sheep around the 3rd Hand Ranch. The girl learn to let their guard down and begin to trust the other girls they live with. Each girl brings their own story, their own trouble, and their own sense of need to fit in and build a friendship that would last forever.
