Udo Schüklenkholds the Ontario Research Chairin Bioethics and Public Policy at Queen's University at Kingston inCanada. Peter Singer is Ira W. DeCamp Professor of Bioethics atPrinceton University and Laureate Professor at the University ofMelbourne. He is the author, co-author, or editor of more than 40books, including Animal Liberation (first published in1975), widely credited with triggering the modern animal-rightsmovement, Practical Ethics (third edition, 2011), InDefense of Animals: The Second Wave (2005), and The Life YouCan Save (2009).
