A disgraced Catholic priest, called Father Franz, is ordered by the community to go in search for her. What will the consequences be?

The story Elsa has so much to teach its readers. It describes everything from the dangers inherent in immigration and dissonant relations between ethnic groups to the highs and lows of marriage, the joys of a simpler life and the spread of Christianity. Detailed mostly by the first-person narrator, Elsa, this story gives special attention to how a woman would have experienced all of these things. It is both gripping and inspiring!
