Twalib Ngoma is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist working at the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) in Tanzania. He is the founder of the Ocean Road Cancer Institute (ORCI) in Tanzania and was Executive Director of ORCI from 1996 to 2014. He has dedicated much of his career to improving oncology services in Tanzania and globally. He is a recipient of 2009 Nazli Gad-el-Mawla Award given by the International Network for Cancer Treatment and Research (INCTR) for outstanding contributions to cancer control by an individual from a country with limited resources and the 2015 Harvard Global Health Catalyst Award Winner as Africa Ambassador.
