The view from the floor-to-ceiling windows was spectacular, the whole city laid out glittering beneath them, fresh and sparkling from last night's rain. Everything looked so tiny it was like standing over a model village; Jem could see tiny cars winding their way through tiny streets. He leaned into the glass, pleased beyond words.
"Nice, isn't it?" Carlton smiled at his side.

"We're so high." It was like being an eagle, ready to soar. He spotted another tall glass building opposite, also with these stunning windows. "Can they see us?"

"Well…" Jem shifted, losing his train of thought. It was hard to think with Carlton doing this to him, keeping him pinned against the glass.
