Eeli wants something to distract him from his present misfortune, and his confusingly perky neighbor seems to fit that role just fine. With Eeli's help, Leo starts to live the life he is losing in the grips of the big C, and little by little they both get more than they asked for.There is only one hitch against their robot-loving nerd bromance turning into a real thing: Eeli is not gay. Or, if he's going to be, he has to first deal with his ex-future-father-in-law's retirement party, friends turning into bigots, and the disease having a good chance of killing his Leo.

M.L. Heinrich started her creative life with graphic novels. Being more of a storyteller than an artist made her concentrate on writing novels where the graphic is expressed with words only. Because she likes her characters witty, tragic, and sometimes a bit dangerous, she has to work extra hard to ensure their bad choices lead to happy endings.If not writing or working her day job, she is probably reading, jogging, eating, or watching some nerdy paranormal action adventure on TV. Or like her daughter likes to say, "Mother, you are so boring!" Her aspirations are supported by a proud but literally clueless spouse, who can't remember a single title of her on-going or previous works (so please don't embarrass him by asking if you meet him somewhere).
