British origin. He has worked in five countries, in teaching,
publishing, editing, arts funding and theater, and his published
work includes two collections of poetry, some short fiction and
contract assignments. After living for eight years on a mountain
acreage in northern New Mexico, he and his wife are now based
in Portland, Oregon - but with a stake in north-eastern Australia
and in a bucolic tropical bolt-hole there, within reach of children
and grandchildren.
