Over fifty years of an exciting marriage inspired me to write this book. I can attribute the book of Ruth as a sustaining influence on our relationship. I draw from challenging early marriage experiences, such as serving in the military and putting myself through school while being a provider for my family. I am a financial professional who enjoys studying biblical history. Writing is my passion, and I look forward to completing other book projects in the near future. There are currently three generations below me that expect me to be their guiding patriarch. I take this responsibility seriously and balance my time and guidance with them.
My wife, Lynn, and I are devoted to the mission of reaching children with the message of salvation. Lynn is a local volunteer director of an international children’s ministry.
I have always been intrigued by the book of Ruth because of its redemption message and guidance for marriage. My deep study of Ruth gave birth to the idea of making this a writing project. My personal stories are combined with the insights I gained from my study.
