Ely Roque SagansayReverend Ely Roque Sagansay was born in Bacolod City, Philippines. He grew up in a Christian home, and four (4) of his siblings are in the pastorate. He is a graduate of International Baptist Theological College of Mandaluyong, Metro Manila, Philippines. He’s been a pastor for 3 decades. He came to know the Lord Jesus Christ April of 1982. Pastor Ely is a teacher, and a radio host of the program “Gideon 300” at DWGO AM Radio based in Olongapo City, Philippines. Pastor Ely started the radio program “Love is the Reason” aired on Light House Radio 106.3 FM. Ely was a professor, and administrator of International Baptist Theological College extension school in Subic, Zambales. He has served as director of music at the Greater Detroit Baptist Association of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). He pioneered International Community Christian Church in Trenton, Michigan- (SBC). Pastor Ely is the author of Christmas Every Day with Xulon Press and, Mi Daily Devotion (First and Second Edition) with Westbow Press. Pastor Ely is married to former Vemerlyn Dumala from the Southern part of the Philippines. They were blessed by the Lord with four (4) children; Eliezer, Ely JR, Eliel Lyn and Elmer John (EJ). Ely’s children are all serving the Lord in the music ministry of International Community Christian Church. His new published book “Thanksgiving Every Day” was born in his heart during tough times of his life, and family. Pastor Ely Roque Sagansay is very passionate about missions and he loves missionaries. He is a man of God and a man for God and for His glory.
