After washing up on a beach, Nicanor is found by John, who takes the penguin home to his family. They nurse him back to health, and he is happy there. For a whole year, hes fed and loved and cared for. One day, John tells Nicanor the family is moving to the city, and the penguin should consider going home. Nicanor is sad to leave, but when he does, he discovers a new life.
A picture book for children, Nicanor the Penguin shares a message of care, support, love, andultimatelyindependence and gratitude.
