The Old Man and the Sea is one of the world's most famous novels and is the work of Hemingway. It tells the story of an old man fish alone in the distant waters. Under the condition of in eighty-four consecutive days without catching a fish and being laughed at, the old man alone finally caught a big marlin. But the fish was too big and even dragged the old man's fishing boat fled three days in the sea. Eventually it was exhausted and the old man was able to kill it and tied to the side of the fishing boat. Unfortunately, on the way home, the old man met a shark attack and when reached the shore, the big marlin only had head, tail and spine. Nevertheless, the old man never admits defeat.
