As a child, Jhana Bowen attended a Tibetan Boarding School in the Himalayas for 6 years where his principal was the Dalai Lama's sister. Raised in a culture deeply connected to spirituality, art, and nature, Jhana today embodies these elements in his work. In 1998 he sighted a golden dolphin in the ocean whilst doing yoga. In 2013, he
co-founded Turtle Conservation Project to provide information and alternatives to single use plastics whilst making contributions to preserve marine-life.
Recognising a need for lasting change beyond addressing symptoms of environmental imbalance, he illustrated and wrote Rainbow Turtle, Golden Dolphin. Intuitively creating a mythological story using visionary art to assist in awakening consciousness in kids and adults.
