Why do we hold grudges? Why do we harbor bitterness and resentment? By refusing to release or forgive someone, are we proving anything? Are we really punishing the other person¿or are we punishing ourselves? Who is the slave and who is the master?
As you read this book, you'll find that release is just as much for us as it is for the other person. Find release for your life by releasing others; you'll be glad you did.
Ruth Ann received Christ as a preteen and began a diligent search for more understanding of the Lord. Her life was recognized, from the beginning, as full of music. Piano, organ and vocal music were a significant arm of Ruth Ann's ministry. High School opened wide doors for her gifts.
Ruth Ann graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a B.S. in Education (majors in Music and English). There she met and married Don H. Polston. They soon became twin souls in the pursuit to make Christ known.
After teaching in public schools for six years, Ruth Ann gave everything to full time ministry. For both she and Don it was a "do or die" calling.
Don and Ruth Ann carried their contagious faith to four pastorates. The last pastorate of thirty years experienced a marvelous sovereign work of God that began with the conversion of Hippies. This influenced many students from UNI (the neighboring University), City Hall, and eventually brought three thousand members to Sunnyside Temple. Ruth Ann then began speaking at retreats and established Winning Women, an interdenominational Bible Study that empowered thousands of women throughout the world. Pretty soon, The Life That Wins television and Radio ministry was birthed.
Don and Ruth Ann are blessed with two children, who with their families share a God that IS. Ruth Ann calls them her mentors.
Her letters will make you laugh, cry, and stretch to a new level. Be blessed as you take the adventurous journey with her.
You will hear her heart in every line . . . listen.
